Carbonara

  • Fry bacon in olive oil until crispy and set aside
  • In the same frying pan add shallots adding olive oil as needed
  • Chop bacon and add into onions
  • Add in garlic and white wine
  • Season with salt and lots of pepper
  • Add in cream or yoghurt (if you're on a diet)
  • Add in a whole egg followed by 2 to 3 handfuls of Parmesan
  • Add in pasta and stir in well
  • Sprinkle with mixed herbs
